Acellus SoftwareThe "Teacher's Desk" features an interactive screen that provides up-to-date Acellus information ranging from Struggling Students to the number of Upcoming Events. In Acellus 5, both the Teacher Interface and the Student Interface have been redesigned to make the teaching and learning process easier, more enjoyable, more efficient, and more manageable. The Teacher Interface retains extensive, real-time monitoring and record-keeping capabilities, the ability to customize the teaching for each student via the four learning models, and many other features that have made Acellus powerful and effective. It adds unique new tools, such as the Acellus Classes tool, where teachers can see an overview of how all of the students in a class are doing -- including their progress, their current grade, and which concepts they are working on. Also new is the Attendance tool, where attendance is kept automatically by the Acellus system and other new features. Additionally, the Acellus Teacher Interface is now protected by GoldKey® Security, allowing teachers to log on from anywhere without fear of a security breach. The Acellus 5 Student Interface begins with the same principles as earlier versions, presenting video instruction to give each student the feeling of a one-on-one experience with a teacher. After the video-based content, the student is then provided with problems. The system uses Deficiency Diagnostics (DD) to analyze the responses, and, based on the response feedback, determines what content to serve next, thus customizing each course for each student. The new interface adds additional capabilities, such as the ability to review one's own progress and attendance. In addition, with Acellus 5, students can sign in from school, from home, from anywhere Internet is available, and Acellus will pick up right where they left off. The Acellus Messaging System allows students to interact with their teacher whenever and wherever they are working on their Acellus courses. And with Acellus, students can work at their own pace.
