Patrick Mara

Acellus Course Instructor

The International Academy of Science recognizes Patrick Mara for his contributions to Acellus® FunMath, Algebra, Geometry, Algebra II, Trigonometry, College Entrance Exam Math Preparation, AP Calculus AB, AP Calculus AB Exam Preparation, and AP Calculus BC Courses. Mr. Mara is currently an adjunct instructor at the University of Southern Colorado and a teacher at South High School, in Pueblo, Colorado. He has received numerous awards for teaching excellence including the Disney Channel and McDonalds' American Teacher Award, the Presidential Award for Excellence in Science and Mathematics Teaching, and the Colorado Educator Award. He was selected Best Teacher for the city of Pueblo, Colorado in March 2006. Students recognize him across the Nation as a teacher that really cares about his students, helping them to regain confidence in mathematics as he fills in the gaps in their understanding.
