Katrina Carey

Acellus Course Instructor

A teacher who has lived and taught in France, Katrina Carey is ideally suited to teach the Acellus French I and II courses. After attending the Paris Summer Language Institute in Paris, France, Ms. Carey earned a Bachelor of General Studies in Theater with a minor in French at the University of Kansas, and went on to earn a Master of Education with a K-12 certification in French at Rockhurst University in Kansas City, Missouri. She is currently teaching at Olathe East High School in Olathe, Kansas. In addition to teaching French, Ms. Carey is a club sponsor of the French National Honor Society. Throughout her teaching career she has also enjoyed coaching dance and cheerleading, assisting with drama programs, and developing pen-pal programs between French and American students.
