Dr. James Chapman is recognized by the International Academy of Science for his contributions to Acellus® courses in General and Pre-AP Chemistry. As a Professor of Chemistry at Rockhurst University in Kansas City, Missouri, Dr. Chapman has taught a broad range of Chemistry-related courses over a two-decade career, including Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry, Instrumental Analysis, Advanced Organic Chemistry, and Independent Study Research. He has also served as the chairman and as a pharmaceutical scientist for the Mid*Lands Institutional Review Board, a committee established to protect the rights and welfare of individuals who volunteer to serve as research subjects in research studies. Dr. Chapman was also a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow for the National Institute of Health. Dr. Chapman received his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry with a Biology minor from Tarleton State University in Stephenville, Texas, followed by his Ph.D. in Medicinal Chemistry and Pharmacognosy from Ohio State University in Columbus.
