In this course, learners will examine the cultural makeup of a diverse American history, from the building of a country of immigrants to the rich heritage of Native Americans. The course will also discuss ideas of government, citizenship, and the early history of the U.S. nation – the foundation of a land of freedoms. It will also take a look at places, people, and traditions that make up the American experience.
