The mission of the Science Information System (SIS) is to gather together and organize the scientific information of the world. The International Academy of Science is currently in the process of developing the soon to be released Science Information System. This vast amount of scientific information is stored on Savant. Built upon the revolutionary dynamic FSD technology, Savant is quickly becoming the world's largest and most powerful supercomputer. The Science Information System has several appendages:
The International Encyclopedia of Science and Technology is an extensive encyclopedia describing science and technology fields. Members will be able to review online topics and continually improve their content. The Science Knowledge Database contains countless online periodicals, journals, trade references, books, and other scientific documentation and reference materials. The Library of Scientific Research, an important part of the Science Knowledge database, will contain online published works written by contributing international Academy members. Members will be invited to offer peer review on all published papers. The Member Database allows Academy members to locate individuals with specific qualifications when they require additional expertise for a project they are working on. The Member Database allows members to network and collaborate, quickly advancing scientific research projects. |
