A Fellow is an individual recognized by the International Academy of Science for an outstanding contribution to science, engineering, and/or technology. This honor shall be bestowed upon qualified individuals by invitation only from the Board of Science Fellows. Individuals can be selected as fellows multiple times, but each time for a major technological breakthrough.
Once an individual receives three Fellow awards, they automatically become a Distinguished Fellow for their overall contributions in the fields of science, engineering, and technology.
Fellows and Distinguished Fellows of the International Academy of Science become lifetime members of the Academy with their membership fee waived for life.
All selected Fellows and Distinguished Fellows automatically become members of the Board of Science Fellows, the Technical Advisory Committee of the International Academy of Science.
