Acellus is a computerized, mastery-level learning system that is being used to deliver courses to students across America, helping them to master difficult subjects, like math. Acellus is helping students regain confidence as it delves in, teaching each student at their own level, at their own pace.

Excitement about Acellus is rapidly spreading across the United States. The International Academy of Science, the parent organization of the International Institute of Science and Technology, is a developer of Acellus courses. These courses provide students with interactive, mastery level, video-based instruction taught by some of our Nation’s finest teachers.

The demand for teachers having the knowledge and expertise necessary to manage an Acellus classroom experience is increasing steadily. To meet this increasing need, IIST has put together a special six-week course to train interested individuals in becoming Acellus Classroom Managers.

Among the many things that students completing this course will learn include the following:

• How to set up and maintain a computer network
• How to bring up an Acellus server
• How to set up Acellus student workstations
• Basic network troubleshooting
• How to set up classes and administer an Acellus server
• How to manage Acellus students
• How to recognize students needing special assistance and where to get help

Acellus Classroom Managers must have at least an Associate degree or equivalent work experience, demonstrate an interest in technology, and a desire to help educate America’s youth.

Students completing this six-week program will be presented with a certificate of completion for this course. Acellus Classroom managers manage labs across the Nation, leveraging teachers and improving the educational experience of students.
