The International Academy of Science was founded by a team of world-renowned visionary scientists and entrepreneurs, recognizing the value of providing hands-on, applied multi-disciplinary degrees as an alternative to today’s traditional theoretical education.

Toward this end, the International Institute of Science and Technology was established. Unlike traditional programs offered today by most colleges and universities, the programs offered by the International Institute of Science and Technology are applied programs in which students are given the opportunity to gain hands-on, practical experience.

The educational programs of the International Institute of Science and Technology are not aimed at turning its students into college professors or scholars. Instead, the programs of IIST teach students how to start with an idea and turn it into a marketable product. These programs are geared toward the student that wants to apply their knowledge and make a meaningful contribution to the world around them.
