The International Institute of Science and Technology was first established as a graduate school, providing hands-on applied science education to its students. This program was focused on preparing entrepreneurs for high-tech industry. Due to the success of these early programs, the International Institute of Science and Technology now also offers undergraduate research degrees. Today, similar programs have been adopted and are currently being offered by several other schools including MIT and Stanford. The International Institute of Science and Technology is in the early stages of seeking general accreditation for all programs. Meanwhile, the Institute has submitted individual courses for review and has received accreditation approval by the appropriate regulatory bodies. Courses taught by the Institute are recognized for credit by numerous institutions of higher education. Please contact us regarding specific questions. Currently, the Institute grants degrees under a letter of exemption issued by the Missouri Coordinating Board for Higher Education. The International Institute of Science and Technology is also recognized by the U.S. Department of Immigration to offer Bachelor, Master, and Doctor of Research study programs to non-immigrant, foreign students. The Institute has a limited number of scholarships and fellowships available to qualified students.
